For Therapy Sessions

Symmetry of Self Counseling Center is currently accepting the following insurances:

(Symmetry of Self will provide superbills for client

 reimbursement but does not bill for out-of-network claims.)


Our out-of-pocket fees are:

Between $90 to $140 per hour for individual sessions depending on the therapist.

$160 for up to 75 minutes of organizational counseling.

Our Cancellation Policy For Therapy Sessions

If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and/or you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $90 fee for individual sessions and $25 for group sessions, not covered by insurance.  If you are 15 or more minutes late for your session, you will need to reschedule and will be charged for missing the appointment.

A Note About Insurance...

Covered does not mean "Paid-In-Full"
Do you know what your insurance cost share is?


The amount you must pay for covered health care services before your health insurance kicks in. 

Example: If Luke's deductible is $2,000, his insurance won't pay for anything until he has paid $2,000 for covered health care costs.  Once he has reached $2,000 in costs, his insurance will start to pay for a portion of the remaining bills based on his plan specifics.


The percentage of the bill you pay for a covered product or service.

Example: Let's say Tony visits his in-network provider for a session. He has already met his deductible, and his plan now requires a 20% coinsurance. If the cost of his insurance plan's contracted rate is $150, Tony will owe $30. His insurance company will pay the rest.


Set dollar amount you pay for a covered product or service.

Example: Sara has a $20 copay for visits with her therapist according to her plan. This means she will only pay $20 every time she visits with her therapist.

Professional Services

Clinical Supervision

My supervision sessions will be at least (60) minutes once a week at a mutually agreed upon time and place. The fee is $75 for each sixty (60) minute individual supervision session and $50 for each group supervision session. This fee includes the time it takes for me to look over your submitted work (audiotapes, videotapes, etc), adding notations, and filling out paperwork.  If you do not show up for your scheduled supervision sessions, and/or you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be charged for the full amount of the scheduled supervision meeting.

Executor Services

The fee for our executor services includes a $100 retainer fee. This fee shall be payable upon contract signing and is non-refundable.  Upon signing a contract with us and in addition to the retainer fee, we also require a flat rate of $500 for records retention. This fee is used to compensate for the storing and safekeeping of all client records in accordance with state and federal guidelines (a minimum of 6 years). For all other services, we will bill first to the retainer and upon depletion of the retainer, shall invoice your estate executor for services performed on your behalf which will be collected in full once your estate has settled.  Fees will be based on the actual time spent on services performed, at a rate of $175 per hour, billed in quarter (.25) increments this includes but not limited to phone calls, emails, letter writing, and record copying.  

Practice Planning

My coaching sessions will be at least 60 minutes at a mutually agreed upon time and place. The fee is $100 for each 60-minute session or $600 for a package of 8 hours (get a $50 discount if you pay the full fee upfront).  A full refund is available after the first session (including that session) if you have booked a packaged group of sessions (8 sessions) and do not want to continue. However, you must advise me within 24 hours after the initial session. Failure to do so will result in that cost for the first session at the prevailing rate being deducted from the refund.
There are no refunds available on single sessions if canceled within 72 hours
If you cancel all sessions within 72 hours of our first scheduled session or fail to make the call, I will deduct the cost of one session at the prevailing rate prior to refunding your money.

**Ask about our military discount**

My website design fee includes a 60-minute consultation, four pages (home page, about page, and two additional pages of your choice, complete with domain acquisition and setup, writing copy, map/address, photo placement, and contact forms) for $400 with one month of unlimited revisions. Each additional page made is $125 and any future revisions or edits to established pages will be $75 per page.
