AN OPPORTUNITY

For Military Veterans &

First Responders

join Our Mission:

Help Veterans & First Responders Heal

Let’s face it—veterans and first responders often fall through the cracks when it comes to mental health care. The VA system is overloaded. Many civilian clinicians lack cultural understanding. And too often, those who serve are left to carry invisible wounds alone.

At Symmetry of Self Counseling Center, we believe healing happens when clients are met by clinicians who get it. That means clinicians with lived experience—veterans and first responders—who understand the culture, the pressure, the sacrifices, and the cost of service.

We believe that the private sector is where real change can happen—and we’re building a team that proves it.

Who We Are

At Symmetry, we don’t just offer therapy. We offer belonging, relief, and authentic human connection to people who’ve lived in high-stakes, high-responsibility roles. Our clinicians are mission-driven professionals who are walking the talk—committed to creativity, camaraderie, compassion, and long-haul commitment.

Symmetry takes a holistic approach that supports both clients and clinicians. Our team leans into the mind-body connection through proven strategies, innovative methods, and down-to-earth care—because therapy should work in real life, not just in theory.

Now Hiring:

Clinicians with Lived Experience:
  • Military veterans

  • Former first responders (police, fire, EMS, dispatchers, etc.)

Fist Bump

Stronger together

At Symmetry of Self, we believe in the power of collaboration. Each of us brings something unique to the table—but together, we create something far greater than the sum of our parts. As a team, we’re able to cast a wider net, serve more of our brothers and sisters in need, and make a deeper impact.

Whether it’s through shared clinical insight, cross-disciplinary expertise, or simply having each other’s backs, we know we can go farther together than we ever could alone. That’s the strength of a mission-driven group practice—and it’s what sets Symmetry apart.

If you ask people in the military what makes them willing to sacrifice themselves for each other, the answer may surprise you. It’s not God or country…it's LOVE. In business we have colleagues and co-workers, in the military, they have brothers and sisters. Bonds like that inspire people to do remarkable things for each other.
